English Muffin
In England, an English muffin is referred to as simply ‘muffin’. It’s a flat, puck–like bread that has bits of cornmeal all over it. It’s sort of spongey.
Taste
English muffin is good. It is normally sliced in half and used as a vehicle for butter and jam, or as bread for a breakfast sandwich. Its compact size and the fact that it has the word ‘English’ in it makes it elegant.
English Muffin became an official snack on July 3rd 2012.
