Miso Soup
Miso soup is like an abstract representation of an obscure art movement or political ideology. Its composition is extremely simple: miso paste (essentially, soybean), seaweed, and tofu. The soup has a sort of mystique. It’s chic, and yet, distinctly working class.
Taste
Miso soup is super salty, which one can assume is a method of averting attention from the questionable seaweed and tofu floating around in it.
Miso Soup became an official snack on June 26th 2012.
