Guacamole
Guacamole is a dip that originated in Mexico. Its composition requires only mashed up avocados (without skin), but it’s fairly common to throw onions, tomatoes, and jalapeños into the mix as well. Guacamole has become quite popular in Mexico’s neighbor (America), and can be considered a sort of ‘Super Bowl’ food.
Taste
Guacamole tastes great. It takes avocado in a slightly different direction, while still doing it justice. Guacamole is generally placed upon a chip to help transport it to the eater, which results in a bite–sized, multi–textured experience. It generally has a short lifespan after preparation, as it spoils quickly if not eaten in haste (though it normally is).
Guacamole became an official snack on June 8th 2012.
