Brown Gravy
Brown gravy is a sauce, which is a condiment. It’s made mostly of beef broth and flour. It is probably the most popular form of gravy. Culturally, it’s a common gag in British comedy for an aristocrat to be poured gravy instead of coffee by a resentful butler. In Japan, “gravy” is referred to as “glavy”.
Taste
Brown gravy tastes good. It pairs well with mashed potatoes, and most beef products. It has a tendency to congeal rapidly if not eaten in haste.
Brown Gravy became an official snack on June 20th 2012.
