Plum
Plum is a very round, purple fruit. Its popularity is highest in China, by a large margin. Culturally, plum is referenced in the popular American quip “plum nuts”, which is a derogatory accusation.
Taste
Plum tastes good. The part of the fruit nearest to the skin is slightly sour, but becomes sweeter as it reaches the core. Dried plum (prune) is a fairly common form of plum.
Plum became an official snack on June 26th 2012.
