Lasagna is an Italian food that achieved popularity in the United States after being featured in a cartoon about a funny cat that was also very lazy. It consists of a flat pasta that acts as layers to a cake that is filled with tomato sauce, various cheeses, and meat.

Lasagna is good. It’s a very dense dish. Cutting into it can make one feel like a sedimentologist.
