Corn
Corn (or, as the Indians called it, maize) is a type of vegetable that grows inside of a green ‘husk’. Each husk houses a cob filled with tiny pieces of corn (kernels) all over it. Corn is farmed mostly in the United States and is used for a variety of things, but remains most popular in food form.
Taste
Corn tastes mediocre, but can be processed in a variety of ways and mixed with a variety of ingredients to taste like nearly anything. One special treat in which corn is the main ingredient is popcorn.
Corn became an official snack on May 1st 2012.
