Carrot Cake
Carrot cake refers to regular cake that has had carrots mixed into the batter. Despite nearly monopolizing the name, carrots play a rather small role in the cake.
Taste
Carrot cake, like most cake, tastes great. It is often topped with cream cheese icing. In the United States, carrot cake is a great addition to a meal during Easter, because Easter connotes rabbits (Easter bunny), and bunny connotes carrot.
Carrot Cake became an official snack on April 30th 2012.
