Artichoke
A bizarre plant that consists of hardened teardrop-shaped leaves that converge to a central vegetable singularity. When cooked, the inner-side of the leaves produce a tender, edible substance.
Taste
One wouldn’t guess that artichoke is edible, but when boiled for an hour, covered in oil, and dipped in a tasty condiment, they can be acceptable.
Artichoke became an official snack on April 21st 2012.
